BioVector® JVE253 is a human-derived Melanoma cell line. This cell line is utilized primarily in dermatological oncology, cancer immunology, and basic melanoma biology research. JVE253 serves as an in vitro model for investigating melanoma cell proliferation, invasiveness, melanogenesis pathways, and sensitivity to various chemotherapeutic agents and targeted therapies. 1. 产品基本信息

  • Morphology: Characteristic melanoma morphology, typically appearing spindle-shaped or polygonal.

2. Culture Conditions

  • Basal Medium: BioVector® RPMI 1640 or DMEM (depending on specific sub-line requirements).

  • Serum Supplement: 10% BioVector® Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

  • Supplements: 2 mM L-Glutamine and 1% Penicillin-Streptomycin are recommended.

  • Incubation: 37 degrees Celsius, 5% CO2.

  • Subculturing: 1:3 to 1:6 ratio; subculture when confluence reaches 80% to 90%.

3. Applications

  • Cancer Research: Studying cell cycle regulation, apoptosis induction, and cell migration in melanoma.
