BioVector® AMPA Expression Cell Lines (typically hosted in HEK293 or CHO cells) are engineered lines stably transfected with human or rat AMPA-type glutamate receptor subunits (e.g., GluA1, GluA2, GluA3, or GluA4). AMPA receptors are the primary ionotropic receptors mediating fast excitatory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system. These lines often co-express auxiliary subunits (such as TARP $\gamma$-2 / Stargazin) to ensure proper membrane trafficking and functional kinetics. 1. 产品基本信息

2. 培养条件
基础培养基: BioVector® DMEM 或 F12 培养基。

Growth Properties: Adherent
Selection Markers: Maintained with G418, Hygromycin, or Puromycin to ensure stable maintenance of the receptor and auxiliary subunit plasmids.
2. Culture Conditions
Basal Medium: BioVector® DMEM or F12 Medium.
Serum Supplement: 10% BioVector® Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Key Requirement: Media may require supplementation with a non-competitive antagonist (e.g., CNQX) to prevent excitotoxicity-induced cell death caused by spontaneous receptor activation.
Incubation: 37 degrees Celsius, 5% $CO_2$.

Passage Stability: Functional expression levels may decrease over time. BioVector® recommends verifying current density via patch clamp or ion imaging every 10 passages.
