BioVector® BL-89 is an epithelial cell line derived from Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC). NPC is histologically categorized into keratinizing and non-keratinizing types; BL-89 is frequently utilized as an in vitro model to study malignant progression, the tumor immune microenvironment, and virus-related pathogenesis (such as the influence of the Epstein-Barr Virus). Characterized by its robust proliferative capacity and tumorigenicity, this cell line is an essential tool in head and neck oncology research.
