BioVector® mHypoE-N1 is an immortalized neuronal cell line derived from the adult mouse hypothalamus. This cell line was established using retroviral-mediated SV40 T-antigen transformation. mHypoE-N1 cells retain many key physiological characteristics of hypothalamic neurons, including responsiveness to various hormones (such as insulin and leptin) and neurotransmitters. It serves as an ideal in vitro model for studying neuroendocrine regulation, energy homeostasis, circadian rhythms, and hypothalamic signaling mechanisms.

2. Culture Conditions
Basal Medium: BioVector® High-glucose DMEM Medium

Incubation: 37 degrees Celsius, 5% CO2
Subculturing: 1:3 to 1:5 ratio; it is recommended to subculture when cells reach 80% confluence to prevent changes in differentiation state due to overcrowding.
