BioVector® Caco-2BBE (C2BBe1) 是从 Caco-2 细胞系中通过极限稀释法筛选出的一个亚克隆。相比于原始的 Caco-2,BioVector® Caco-2BBE 在成层、极化以及刷状缘(Brush Border)蛋白(如蔗糖酶-异构麦芽糖酶)的表达上表现出更高的一致性和形态学上的优越性。它能够形成极其紧密的单层细胞膜,是目前模拟人小肠上皮屏障、研究微绒毛结构、营养吸收以及药物渗透性(如 Caco-2 渗透实验)的国际公认标准模型。
BioVector® Caco-2BBE (C2BBe1) is a subclone isolated from the Caco-2 cell line via limiting dilution. Compared to parental Caco-2, BioVector® Caco-2BBE exhibits superior homogeneity in stratification, polarization, and the expression of brush border enzymes (e.g., sucrase-isomaltase). It forms highly organized, confluent monolayers that more closely resemble the human intestinal epithelium. It is the gold-standard model for studying microvilli structure, nutrient absorption, and drug permeability (e.g., Caco-2 permeability assays).

3. 细胞应用

4. 注意事项
分化周期: 细胞在达到 100% 汇合后需要额外的 14-21 天才能完全极化和分化。
汇合度管理: 传代时应避免细胞长期处于汇合状态,否则会引起过早分化,导致实验结果不稳定。建议在 80% 汇合时传代。

3. Applications

4. Key Usage Notes
Differentiation Period: Cells require an additional 14-21 days post-confluence to achieve full polarization and brush border enzyme maturation.
Confluence Management: To maintain the proliferative capacity of the stock, do not allow cells to remain confluent for extended periods before subculturing. Subculture is recommended at 80% confluence.
Note: Handle BioVector® Caco-2BBE cells under Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) conditions. For consistent results in permeability assays, the use of BioVector® DMEM Medium and BioVector® Fetal Bovine Serum is critical to maintain tight junction integrity (TER values).
