Description / 描述:
The BioVector® ciPTEC (conditionally immortalized proximal tubule epithelial cell) line is a well-characterized human cell model derived from urine or kidney tissue. It is conditionally immortalized using a temperature-sensitive SV40 large T antigen and human telomerase (hTERT), allowing for proliferation at 33°C and differentiation/maturation at 37°C. These cells retain key morphological and functional characteristics of the renal proximal tubule, including the expression of tight junctions, specific transporters, and the ability to perform endocytosis.
