1. General Information

2. Origin and Genetic Modification
  • Modification: Parental MC38 cells stably engineered to constitutively express the Ovalbumin (OVA) protein.

Technical Tip:

Because MC38-OVA is a syngeneic model for C57BL/6 mice, it is highly sensitive to the animal's immune status. Always verify OVA expression via flow cytometry or ELISA periodically, as transgene silencing can occur over many passages.
