BioVector® CBS 7435 (also known as NRRL Y-11430) is a widely used industrial reference strain of the methylotrophic yeast Komagataella phaffii (formerly Pichia pastoris). It serves as the parental progenitor for many common recombinant protein expression systems, including the popular auxotrophic strain GS115.
