DescriptionThe K562-Red-FLuc cell line is a luminescent cell line derived from K562-human chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The cell has been stably transduced by the red-shifted firefly luciferase gene (Red-FLuc) for bright Redshift signal.
K562 Red-Fluc is a suspension cell line. Cells will usually appear circular and completely floating.
By emitting enhanced light with a longer wavelength that is significantly brighter than other firefly luciferases, our bioluminescent tumor cell line allows you to visualize and monitor the growth of tumors in deep tissues in vivo.
After the cells are injected into a suitable mouse model, the optimized Red-FLuc luciferase can achieve more sensitive in vivo optical detection with less tissue attenuation, so you can detect tumor development earlier and subcutaneously monitor tumor growth and metastasis in the orthotopic model.
FeaturesOur bioluminescent tumor cell line is labeled with Red-Fluc or dual labeled with a fluorescent reporter (GFP). These red-shifted tumor cell lines are significantly brighter than other firefly luciferases (10-20 times brighter in vitro). Creative Biolabs' cell line is bright enough to measure tumor growth in the in vivo optical imaging system immediately after injection, much earlier than the time when the tumor can be touched, so you can start at a point in time that cannot be measured with a traditional micrometer data collection.
