The cisplatin (DDP)-resistant subline A375/DDP was established with continuous exposure of the parental A375 cells to increasing concentrations of cisplatin, ranging from 2 nM to 4 μM for about 6 months. The drug-resistant cells were maintained in DMEM containing 4 μM cisplatin.
