Pichia pastoris strain CBS7435Mut S was transformed with Nanobodies cloned in pPpT4_Alpha_S vector . Other P. pastoris strains were transformed with Nanobodies cloned in the pPicZalpha or pGAPZa vector (Invitrogen). Secretion of the Nanobodies was achieved by fusion to the prepro-signal sequence of the S. cerevisiae alpha mating factor.
