Cell line: UPCI-SCC-072 Cat no.: ACC 667 Species: human (Homo sapiens) Cell type: squamous cell carcinoma Origin: established from an oral squamous cell carcinoma of a 61-year-old Caucasian woman; in contrast to the results shown in the primary report, we did not find the expression of cytokeratins in this cell line; the cell line will only be distributed to non-profit institutions, commercial entities may apply for a license from Maria Vanegas (msv4@pitt.edu / 001-412-648-4004) at the University of Pittsburgh, Office of Technology Management Biosafety level: 1 Permissions and restrictions: A Cell Culture Data: Morphology: epithelial cells growing adherently as monolayer Medium: 80% MEM (with Earle's salts) + 20% h.i.
