Transformation of the NP566U strain with pURA5-Sable.
Representation of pURA5-Sable. The XbaI unique site was used for
linearization before transformation. Phleomycin- and zeocin-resistance
tests were carried out by streaking ATCC 6260 (WT) and a
representative transformant (+ pURA5-Sable) on YPS plates
supplemented or not with phleomycin (0.4 mg mL 1
) or zeocin
(2 mg mL 1
).
