NTCC® NCI-H748 cell line (also known as H748) is a human lung-derived cell line primarily used in small cell lung cancer research.

• Source Organism:Homo sapiens (Human)

• Tissue/Disease: Derived from a metastatic lymph node of a 62-year-old Black male patient with lung cancer (July 1984).

• Ethnicity: Black / African American.

• Morphology: Grows as floating aggregates of round cell clusters.

• Karyotype: t(1;3)del(3)(p14-p23).

• Growth Properties: Suspension.

• Base Medium:ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium.

• Complete Growth Medium: Base medium supplemented with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

• Incubation: 37°C in a 5%
